The unit is located on the second floor of the Ilikai Hotel, unit 210, which is the hotel you see in the opening scene of the famous TV show, Hawaii 5-0. This unit offers a full gourmet kitchen with everything you could need. It's like staying in your own home, but with better weather and a beach just a few steps away.

This is a prime location for experiencing Waikiki Beach and the activities Hawaii has to offer. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to enjoy with friends and family, and many high end shops are nearby.
Unit is 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with huge lanai. The second bathroom features a Japanese style deep tub.

PARKING
If you plan on renting a car, we suggest contacting the hotel for the valet parking rates. The last time I checked the parking rates were $45/day. There is also public paid parking along the boat harbor with a rate of $1/hour.
If you only need a car for one day, some of our guests have rented a car just for the day from the car rental facilities in Waikiki, but make reservations in advance as they get rented quickly.
Payment method: We accept VISA or MASTER with a 5% booking fee, if you decide to pay with AMEX its 9% so we advise guests to pay via VISA or MASTER. Booking fees are non-refundable.

  Two bedroom two bath condo. Large living room. Huge deck. Good beds. Nice bathrooms. Can't see much from the deck. Kitchen very poorly equipped. Not even salt and pepper. Condo is in a hotel so very well equipped. Bar/restaurant/coffee shop/ice cream shop/convenience store all right in the building. Very handy. Just a couple minute walk to the beach. Valet was very good. I would stay here again. Worked good with a family.

  Couple things on the Ilikai is that it is an old building needing some TLC. Elevators were very dangerous & we reported it to the front desk. They closed so fast you didn’t have time to get in or out. We had 3 mobility scooters and did not feel safe, particularly the one from the outside. We were concerned that a child could be really hurt. Also the price charged for the property seems extremely high for such an old place with old furniture. Also it was not noted in anything that there was no dishwasher or ice maker. Beds were comfy. Second bathroom was not ADA either.
  Getting in & out of the tub was extremely hard and scary. Balcony was not usable due to bird droppings. In all the days we were there it was not cleaned.
  
  All of this is why we think the rent was unfairly high. Thank you for your attention to these items.

  After checking in at ILIKAI Hotel desk and finally settling into the apartment we took the time to walk the property. We immediately realized how simple our effort to place our day today normal life in the rear view mirror. The walking trail along the beach seemed too busy but a closer look of it there was plenty of room to have your individual, couple, or family experience. Most travelers were dedicated to their own experiences or at times express the same joy of the beach. You could walk for miles if you wanted or stayed close to the apartment. The bus number 42 or 20 stopped along side the facility inbound to Waikiki and across the street outbound out of Waikiki. Getting a week bus pass is a good way to keep you honest when you want to maximize your outdoor activities. I found renting a vehicle you spend too much time trying to catch everything. This spending time driving around instead. There is a shuttle that leaves Waikiki to the airport. You must go online and make a reservation for your hotel, Airline, and pickup time. Or rent a vehicle for your second to last day and checkout the day of early. Plenty of walking after eating where ever you desire. The hotel has a local Ice Cream vendor inside for those who enjoy waffle cones or Shaved Ice. Looking back after the experience, we are thankful for the security and the professionalism of the staff.

  The perfect location for a family - you're at the north end of the Waikiki strip. Very close to the beach, the Hilton lagoon, and Ala Moana beach and lagoon as well. Two pools for when you're ready to chill closer to home. The kitchen is great to have for eating breakfast at home. The Ilikai has great amenities on the main floor including a very good gym, restaurants and cafes, and a great ice cream shoppe. We used laundry in the building multiple times. Property manager was very kind and attentive when we had questions.

  The space was good with two bed / bath, living, kitchen and walk out patio. Perfect if you don't mind a space that is not thoroughly cleaned. The fresh look and cleanliness you see in the posted photos are not accurate. The space desperately needs a fresh coat of paint to cover the dirt and smudges you will find on every wall, the sofa needs to be replaced or cleaned very well as it is covered in stains. The guest bathroom had hair on every surface (walls, ceilings, not an exaggeration), the shower curtains need to be replaced as they are stained and starting to mold. There were no paper towels or garbage bags when we arrived. The property manager did drop some off within an hour of arrival. The guest shower would make a very loud vibrating noise through out the walls so we shared our master shower with our guests. The master shower did not drain properly and would pool at the feet 2 - 3 inches. Draino was put down the drain, but that did nothing. All in all, this could be a great place to stay if the maintenance and cleaning was taken care of properly.

  IIikai is a great place to stay. This is the 2nd time we stayed at IIikai. #210 is a nice unit, well maintained, location is very convenient. Property managers are pretty responsive and friendly. I actually was worried if 2nd floor might be noisy but it turned out it is a quiet place. I recommend this place.

  The location was perfect, the property was beautiful and clean. The only minor issues were the batteries in A/C controllers were too weak to maintain the settings. Some lights were burned out and needed to be replaced. Otherwise, it was great for what we wanted. Enjoyed it very much.

  We spent a comfortable week here with our three boys (aged 8, 12, and 16). There was just enough space for all of us, and the keyless entry was nice since we could all come and go with out worrying about a key. The Ilikai is about a mile from where the best beach and restaurants and shops are, but we found the trollley and taxis quite easy, and we did a lot of walking. One thing I would have appreciated is a source for purified water. We found that the pool has one, and we kept refilling our 32oz water bottle, but it would be nice to have better drinking water in the unit. Also, a tea kettle would be great. We needed help finding a pillow case and TP, so I texted the manager and he was very responsive and helpful. Overall, a very good experience.

  We had an excellent stay in a lovely unit in a good location amd would certainly stay again. Just a few comments . We received an e mail with the name and contact person for the unit prior to arrival. Unfortunately the e mail did not tell us the unit number or how to access the unit. I did get an e mail with these details but it did not arrive in my home e mail until after we had arrived in Honolulu necessitating a phone call to get this information. Nonetheless this was easy to obtain with a phone call. Only comments I would make regards the balcony. We had a lot of lovely nights on the balcony, problem being the hotel rooms above. We found broken glass from above on the balcony, and occasionally had wet drops from above. Even found a knife dropped from above on the balcony one morning which may not have been pleasant if it had hit one of us. Would be good if the balcony slats could be moved to a closed position for protection. All in all though a pleasant stay

  Love this place! I can't say how wonderfully relaxing it is to travel and have a place with so much room and sunlight. This was our 2nd time staying here and we loved it just as much. Even with some rainy days having a place with all the sunlight and room made our rainy day indoors relaxing.

  The unit was overall very spacious and comfortable for two couples and two children. Pros: great location, within walking distance to beaches, restaurants and access to pool. Good amenities such laundry, kitchen. Cons: front door is sticky, difficult to open and does not close well. Sachi Hawaii did not provide toilet paper or other supplies upon our arrival. We had to call them for this and it was not delivered until the next morning and then they were late which caused us to wait around. Parking is an investment. You can opt for Ilikai valet at $28/day or park in the marina for $1/hour. Either way, it adds up quick.

  I feel grateful to have stumbled across the perfect place for my family and I to stay while we were in Honolulu. We stayed for 2 weeks. My first week was for work and the second was vacation with my family. Our 2 bedroom with spacious living area, kitchen and large balcony gave us room to be together, but also enough space for private time.
  
  This was a bitter sweet vacation as we had originally planned to come here with my husband. He passed way May 2016 suddenly. I made a promise to myself that for this first year I would make sure my kids would wake up to me. I have business in Hawaii and had not been in a year so I took them along during their spring break and my brother and partner came along to watch the kids while I worked the first week.
  
  This trip gave me room to heal. I would sit in the balcony with my cup of coffee and journal. This was the first time and the beginning of getting my children (ages 4 and 7) to sleep separate from me. I felt my husbands presence everyday, but at a distance, giving me room to heal.
  
  Forever grateful for this time and place that allowed me some healing.
