Unit 629 is fully equipped with a full kitchen and all the kitchen tools you need. Coin operated laundry on every floor. WiFi and cable TV is provided. The Ilikai Hotel is located in Waikiki perfect location with easy access to Ala Moana Center. Many shops and restaurants are conveniently located close by, Chart house for happy hours and a amazing Marina view, Red Lobster, the famous Katsu-midori Sushi from Japan, there is also a fancy restaurant in the hotel next door, The Modern. If you are looking for a local breakfast joint with velvet pancakes, Cinnamons is located on the hotel property!

**IMPORTANT NOTICE — July 9, 2025**
Starting the week of July 28, 2025, a licensed contractor will begin spalling repairs and full exterior painting of the building. Balcony access and use for this condo will be restricted from February 21, 2026 to June 29, 2026 (approx. dates). Construction noise will be limited to 9 AM – 5 PM per house rules. Guests can use lanais after 5 PM once contractors finish for the day.

NO SMOKING / NO PETS
If you plan on renting a car, we suggest contacting the hotel for the valet parking rates, last time I checked the parking rates were $45/day (rates are subject to change). There is also public paid parking along the boat harbor rates are about $1/hour (rates are subject to change).
If you only need a car for one day, some of our guests have rented a car just for the day from the car rental facilities in Waikiki, but make reservations in advance as they get rented quickly.

Payment method: We accept VISA or MASTER with a 5% booking fee, if you decide to pay with AMEX its 9% so we advise guests to pay via VISA or MASTER. Booking fees are non-refundable.

  Our first time staying on this side of Waikiki, and this is a great unit.
  • Nice view.
  • Short walk to beach.
  • Kitchen is small but totally usable and has what one needs to make a meal.
  • The listing said no beach chairs, beach towels, or cooler...but they DID have them! A very nice surprise! Mahalo!
  • Everything worked just fine and there were no issues.
  • Plenty of elevators so there was no waiting.
  • Laundry was fine.
  • Very easy communication with owner.
  
  Note:
  • The lanai is a good size...but the one thing missing here is a round table with chairs to eat at. Most units have this, so it is surprising. There's just that little table and the two (low) chairs. We ate breakfast outside with our plates on our laps. Doable, but not ideal.
  • As is common with these rentals, the doors to the lanai have glass but no screens.
  • No spices, sauces, dressings, misc left from previous visitors in kitchen. (Not a big deal. We brought s/p and Everything but the Bagel.) There was cooking oil.
  • Some rooms are owned and rented out like this...but many are part of the hotel, even right next door! Not a negative, but a little unusual. People were friendly.

Is that true of most VRBO condo guests at other Waikiki properties?; Dirty bannister/lanai/cushions on both sides and floor w/ pigeon poop!;Dirty rusty vent in shower negates new tile remodel; Dirty refrigerator handle and refer on left bottom side. Especially for guests like us who left condo CLEANER than found. We pay $200 to clean our 2100 #ft condo in expensive Silicon Valley.   This is a perfect location as you can easily walk to most locations for shopping and eating. Beach is very close as you are right at the marina. Room was very clean when we arrived but could use some casual renovations. This was not at all a deterrent as we plan on rebooking for next year. Hist was excellent as there was a minor issue and it was handled very well.

  You will find everything you need in this lovely Hawaiian condo. The decor will take you back to old Hawaii and wrap you in the warmth of the inland’s. You can open the sliding doors to all the way and enjoy the warm breezes. The sunsets are beautiful and the rainbows too. Only a short walk to beaches, lagoons, shopping, entertainment and sightseeing. We loved our stay and I’m sure you will too.

  My husband and I stayed at the apartment for 6 weeks in February and March 2023. Overall we were very happy with the unit. We were missing a kettle, as I am a tea drinker, and tea towels for drying dishes (although there is a dishwasher in the kitchen). When I texted the property manager about these missing items, I was so pleased to get an immediate response that this would be corrected, and a brand new kettle in a box and tea towels were delivered to our room by the afternoon!
  My only suggestions would be to have some sort of shelf or holder in the shower for shampoos etc so they don’t have to sit on the shower floor and also to change the bed skirt as it was torn in a few places.
  The location and view is perfect. The Wifi is excellent and the TV has a crazy amount of channels. It is in a quieter part of Waikiki and very close to the mall and beach. The free fireworks every Friday is a few steps away and there was often entertainment in the patio area of the Ilikai. All in all we were very pleased and had a wonderful stay there.

  I had a wonderful week staying in this beautiful condo. The space was clean, open, beautiful views, exactly as described. Upon arrival I noticed that the coffee pot was missing prior to my arrival, I sent an email to make the property management aware and they reponded immediately and brought a new coffee pot within the hour. I am satisfied with my experience and will be returning. For my personal taste the bed was a little firm and the towels could used to be replaced. I also like how complimentary toiletries were provided and if you’re traveling with a family there is beach equipment available (small cooler, chairs, boogie boards, towels). You won’t be disappointed, I was also given my refund back in a timely manner. Location was perfect as well, right by the lagoon/beach, bus, grocery and a mall within walking distance (under 1 mile), Waikiki beach is about 1.3 miles, j enjoyed walking along the shoreline and taking in the beauty of the scenery. Also if you’re looking to do a sunset cruise the harbor is right there. My only complaint was when booking with Expedia I was confused with the deposit and was surprisingly charged the $1,500 with my reservation, then my receipt showed I still owed the deposit at check in. Expedia was not a help at all when trying to understand the situation, however Sachi Hawai’i was quick to help and answer my questions and concerns. I will be coming back, you won’t be disappointed.   Sachi Hawaii rentals are hands down the best company we have ever booked through of over 45 years of travel. They are quick to respond to any questions or requests( I asked for a blender after checking in and it was brought within the hour!) Such a pleasant group of people working there. The rental had a beautiful view with a really big balcony that was perfect for watching the sunsets and the weekly entertainment in the courtyard. The Bed was comfortable,
  The furniture was in good shape. Unit could use some updating. A fresh coat of paint on the walls and deck floor and new curtains on the slider would work wonders, but definitely not a deal breaker. Unit was clean, all appliances worked and had a kitchen full of dishes, pots, pans glasses and utensils, everything you could need and then some! The Ilikai building entrance and common areas are beautiful and kept up nice and clean! We really enjoyed our 3 week stay and Sachi Hawaii was a huge part of it! Would highly recommend the building and rental agency!

  Perfect location. Comfy bed. Requires some TLC.
  need to replace bathroom vent in shower stall..very rusty, not even a $10.00 piece, and 2 screws holding it on .A lot of gunk in shower door frame. Drapes are filthy.
  Floor tiles, some broken/missing,all the tiles to repair the broken/missing ones are right there in the closet! Dishwasher...didn't clean dishes,screen filter in dishwasher was so plugged with crud. Hubby cleaned it out & then it cleaned like it should. Picture above bed, VERY dusty.
  Needs much improvement for cleaning!you get charged a $300.00 cleaning fee, so it should be clean!! Fresh paint would be a big improvement. The cost to improve wouldn't be too expensive. You would have a much better review. I have taken some pics if you would like to view. We would definately recommend to a friend, once the improvements are taken care of.

  We stayed here for about a week, everyone is super nice and welcoming. There’s a cafe inside the hotel which is super good! The apartment is exactly how you see it in the pictures provided. There are no cleaning services provided during your stay you have to take out the trash and clean everything yourself. There is also a laundry room in which you have to pay.

The apartment we stayed in is perfectly located with a beautiful ocean view with a larger patio than most hotels in the area. It has a breakfast place, mini mart and coffee shop located right below in the main lobby area. It is a short walk to the beach and famous lagoon and a 10 minute walk to the famous luxury shopping of Ala Moana Mall. This apartment is also equipped with a full kitchen which allows you to have great dinners on the patio catching the beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed our vacation and felt really relaxed staying at this property. I can’t wait to return!
